Gaionix Coder documentation
Install Gaionix Coder 1.0.0, configure your model, and use the CLI or VS Code with explicit control over tools, sessions, and recovery.
Start with your workspace
Gaionix Coder is a local coding agent with two interfaces: a VS Code extension and a standalone CLI/TUI. Both use the same Rust runtime and JSON Lines protocol. Workspace tools run on your machine; prompts and selected context are sent to your chosen model provider.
Keep control of the next action
Continue resumes eligible unfinished work. Compact summarizes accepted context. Retry creates a fresh attempt after a failure. Queue holds follow-ups. Steer redirects an active turn. Stop requests safe cancellation.
